ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic is specifically formulated to help maintain your cat’s liver health in cases of chronic liver failure. This diet contains high-quality protein levels specifically adapted to support healthy liver function. This diet is intentionally formulated with a low copper content to help minimize its accumulation in your cat’s liver cells. This diet has a high energy value to reduce portion size and decrease the intestinal load on your cat. This diet also contributes to a urinary environment unfavorable for the development of struvite and calcium oxalate stones. As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, you should only feed this product to your pet if recommended by a veterinarian. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be done slowly and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. You must ensure that you offer the correct portions.
