Primary Use: It is indicated for the treatment of bacterial diarrhea, specifically conditions such as colibacillosis (E. coli infection) and salmonellosis.
Mechanism: The multi-component formula acts as an antibacterial agent and an intestinal adsorbent, helping to restore electrolyte loss, reduce intestinal motility, and eliminate bacterial toxins.
Active Ingredients: The oral suspension contains a combination of active ingredients per mL:
Colistin: 25 IU
Amoxicillin (as trihydrate): 1 mg
Neomycin (as sulfate): 330 ug
Attapulgite: 1 mg
Electrolytes (Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate)
Flavor: The raspberry flavor is used to make the medication more palatable and easier to administer to pets.

Prescription Drug: Colimoxyn is a prescription (Rx) drug and should only be used under the guidance and direction of a licensed veterinarian.
