○ If the comment is approved, the user’s profile picture may be visible publicly.
- Media:
○ Users should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can extract location data from these images. - Contact Forms & Cookies:
○ If a visitor leaves a comment, they may opt to save their name, email, and website in cookies to avoid re-entering the same information in the future. These cookies last for a year.
○ When visiting the login page, a temporary cookie is set to check if the browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is discarded after closing the browser.
○ Upon logging in, cookies will save login information and screen preferences. These cookies last up to two days (login) and one year (screen options).
○ If “Remember Me” is selected, the login persists for two weeks. Upon logging out, login cookies are removed.
○ Editing or publishing an article generates an additional cookie to indicate the post ID. This expires after one day.
